Still I Rise

The one thing I need,

My sanity.

Acting like a battlecry that speaks about me,

A melody that rises with the waves,

Then thrashes against the rocks,

Still I rise.

A cry that tells us what's real and how to laugh at lies,

Still I rise.

I rythm of honor that reminds us it's ok to fail,

Still I rise.

Most importantly,

It reminds me of the warrior I have become and forever wil be,

My sanity is the key that sets me free and the one thing I dare not live without.
