(poems go here)
The beautiful game for some undermines;
With friends by their side on a field of grass
That is marked by the seniors with white lines
Which shows the boundary of a team's pass.
It is a pursuit of time and much love
With perseverance and dedication
Goals are accomplished, records take hold of
Your heart, your mind and determination.
Tests will not wait for the clock's final buzz
Nor crowds cheer for the average dip switch.
Somewhere a line must be crossed and it does
Not only need to be crossed on the pitch.
The player beware the love of the game,
Loss of education only brings shame.
