Stereotypes

Rah- Rah- Ree!

This is Greek to me

In Cheer, we dont say this

That thought you can dismiss

Movies tell you otherwise,

These stereotypes we despise

We aren't dumb, or stupid,

that thought has been disputed

We may only count to eight,

but just so we're not late

on our jumps, stunts or passes

and lets not forget the dances

Timing is everything,

when our sequence is always varying

So if there's no objection,

please dont rush perfection

and please lets stop the hate

because, come on, cheer is great.
