Staying strong

You’re gone and I’m left here

Missing you every moment of everyday

I see your face in my mind

But there’s nothing I can do because you’re gone

Taken away too soon

But I have to keep a straight face

Because your sister, my mom, needs me to stay strong

I began to break, buckle even shake

But I need to stay strong

I love and miss you everyday

But I know you’re in a better place

But that doesn’t stop the love I have for you

It never will

But for right now I have to stay strong

I shed a tear in your memory

But that doesn’t mean I’m not strong

It’s ok for me to cry

But that doesn’t mean the pain is over

Because you’re gone and I’m here just trying to get older

There are no words left to say expect I love you

And I’ll see you again one day
