Stars Are In Your Eyes

Stars Are In Your Eyes

Oh, I could remember when I use to laugh

With all my old friends;

Those where the days when life seemed okay,

That was before darkness make its way.

Oh. How he called me his little dreamer,

He would say to me, dream big

Never let your dreams come to an end,

I was a child very young at heart,

But from that point on, He held all power

Over me through a world of a nightmare,

When he would look at me,

It was like he was trying to read my mind

Then he would smile, just for a little while

Then he would say, Child eyes holds light

What is it you see tonight?

But when he asks me to answer him,

I didn’t want to, because what I seen

got me so confused,

I became so afraid of him,

Cry now my child, let your tears fall

Come let me hold you like I supposed to,

I can’t get into words much about what I feel

But I will tell you this,

Moonlight, my love is real,

I know your real name,

But for now, Moonlight must stay

While this story is being relayed,

Just for now I must go,

And set all the raven out to feed

Upon who bodies are left out on shore,

In darken dreams where the mind runs free,

Oh, look at the stars you hold in your eyes

Moonlight you charm the skies;
