Stars

Mon, 01/23/2017 - 08:57 -- Token

A star starts out as happiness

And it grows in size

Then it sets itself on fire

due to the pure emotion that, within, resides

And as it grows it begins to understand

That all around it is simply darkness

The star grows lonely

Anything that comes close to it dies

So in a final act of emotion

It takes its course to simply die

Some stars expand their range

hoping for some comfort

but yet the facts remain the same

and so they slowly go out as they get older

Some stars, who burn the brightest,

There is depression all around

So they try to harden their heart

Thus, on themselves, the finally collapse down

A star's life is sad

No one to love and no love to be had

So aren't you glad

That you were born sad
