Stargazing

Location

Our eyes beyond this sphere do gaze

To search for meaning in our stars.

On patterns flung across the heav'ns

Our eyes beyond this sphere do gaze.

Alas! For when we seek, we find

But what afore dwelt in our mind.

But still our eyes beyond this sphere

Do search for meaning in our stars.

The heart's desire is all that can be found

When eyes into Elysian Fields are cast.

No future hope - no clarity of past.

The heart's desire is all that can be found.

Until unto our heav'nly home we've past

And are no more with mortal shackles bound,

The heart's desire is all that can be found

When eyes into Elysian Fields are cast.

But when we reach our home above

And take our place among the stars,

Our gaze directed down to Earth

Finds meaning in this world of ours.
