Starchild

I'm lost under these endless skies

I follow the starpath home

to a distant planet

that was my childhood home

Where panthers sing their silent songs

under the Autumn moon

and women weave a web of poems

to catch and drag you down

Where dolphins hold great mysteries

in coral and in pearl

Where gentle fae wish upon stars

for all the universe

The sea holds endless treasure

which jellyfish fiercely guard

Starfish shine to light your way

and fireflies glow like stars

I would walk the starpath

unto my childhood home

So take my hand and walk with me

So I don't walk alone
