A Star

If all stars were meant to be the same then they would have the same shape and size

they would even be the same in the way they shine.

But since each star is special and unique they all have a different name and story and it's nothing but inspiration to me

Because how can I strive to be the same when God made Me unique.

He fashioned my spirit to be full of life and rare.

He wrote out my destiny and sent me here.

He gave me a light and told me to shine

He said "don't worry about what THEY say because I made you and you are mine."

He told me not to worry about the setbacks and the falls

Because he doesn't call the qualified He qualifies the called.

He told me that it is okay to be human to just remember where I stand

He told me that it's not about the material things that's in my neighbors hand

He told me that if I only remember I was made for him I would have nothing to lose but everything to gain.

Every shackle would be broken and he would break every chain

If I only remember that phone number will forever be the calling of his name.

So in saying all of that I'm just reminding you all that you are made uniquely to made.

Stop trying to be someone you're not, remember your name.

Remember you are a star and your shine is unique.
