Time for renewal

Time for cleaning

And time for rain

You know what they say

April shower’s

Bring May flowers

Most flowers which show up here are white

As one gets farther out of the city, they turn blue

For some it is the start of the tank tops and shorts

For some it the start sunscreen and lawnmowers

For me it is time for bug repellent and pants

For my family it is time early mornings and late BBQs

Personally the sun is welcomed but also shunned

The nice cool wind is embraced and the day is great

The clear blue skies are noticeable even through drawn shades

But there is one thing that will for sure happen this Spring

I will not be seeing anything of the above listed

I will have stapled curtains to block the blue and sun

My television screen, computer monitor, and ipod display

Will all be bright and my parents will tell me to go outside

And I will but only to take out trash and go to families for Easter.
