Red, yellow, brown, and black

Are the mighty colors of the vicious bug.

If you go near it, there will be a ferocious attack.

It can hide anywhere, from in a house to under a rug

And it will sting anything from a bird to a pug.

When its stinger enters you, you’ll want to give it a tug.

There is one thing it has to gain

From pumping venom into you vein.

It’s goal is simple: to protect it’s home.

Which can be anywhere, on any type of terrain.

So always be mindful, wherever you roam,

For there this creature will not permit

You to stand near the home of the mighty hornet.
