Speaking to a Wise Old Man

Tue, 08/07/2018 - 16:50 -- Arc08

How do you feel?

I asked the man.

His response was slow

He answered me though,

Wise words seemed to flow

Out of his very soul

From woven words

A picture began to form

Appearing out of thin air

When he finished,

He said a prayer

In a tongue I didn’t bear.

Then he stared at me,

And I began to weep

As the words seeped in.
