Speak

Location

Say something

Before I shake the words out of you

Scream at me until you can't feel the pain

Thrashing in agony in bitter silence

If you don't project, they won't remember your name

These stills in time are what make us

They build us up, then they break us down

Clutching your old-time abandons,

Petrified, you don't make a sound

Out with it now, or forever hold your peace

A whisper drew breath from her tired lips:

SPEAK
