Sparks

Sparks in the dark of a heart
Scatter with the putter-patter
Of each beat, a marvelous feat
Bright light from the start

Curious, although serious thought
Entranced by a meager glance
Spell out all uncertain doubts
Of a mind crying to be sought

Stage lights cast away desired night
Illuminate a face, graced with beauty
Time stands unnerving as my ears are yearning
To hear golden notes as they come afloat, soft with might

Captured by a voice, ruptured through my brain
Words never come easy but oh so queasily
When confronted by chance, a chance at romance
Seized in a moment with no further atonement to remain sane

Politely persuaded, though a mind quells unchanged
Sits imaginative and craving for ideals entertaining
Sifting through thoughts long forgotten nay never are softened
By wild hallucination and hopeful sensation of a name

Taken away on fantasies leaving behind past delicacies
Lost in the dreams and seams of loves' woven patterns
While a piece left behind, feels courage unwind
And drifts to think of a distant week, found hazily in memories

First love seizes a soul and nulls any sensible decisions
Caught up in the feeling, of another love-sick feelings
Old days, events, scenes lie quiet and still among memories
Minds of young love, sung with purest of intentions

The simplest break shakes the Earth to its core
Tears match clouds as they shroud true emotions
Puzzled strains of pain rattle each day's morn
As light won't succumb the climb to find what's inside of loves lore

Uplifting spirits and bright eyes blink
With a gaze caught by an unnoticeable wink
My heart speeds fast like the wind across the green grass
The only request I long for is this time to last

I know I must brush off this delirious dust
Fight through distant tribulations and lose all sense of hesitations
The wind embraces my soul as my words are quaky, uncontrolled
But when they spill, my heart fills and thrills, for I have found trust

The luster of the moon swoons like a dove
I hold you close to my eyes, while your beauty they consume
And when supple lips feel for mine, oh how my lips feel light
Embrace yours dearly and have felt sincerely, true love
