Sparkle

Ever since day one she's had a sparkle in her eyes

With every passing day they prayed, "God, please don't let it die!"

She knew there was something special about her from the very start

Could it be her lovely voice?

Or maybe her kind heart?

Whatever the source of her little spark

It seemed to make others smile

So she held onto it with all of her heart

Hoping to keep them happy for maybe just a while

To this day she sparkles and glistens

And to her voice, everyone likes to listen

She's proud of her little something special

And forever and ever she will continue to glow
