SOUL LOST

I saw a soul taken away

By thirteen bullets one day in May

He was nineteen, he was my kin

It changed my life, so I begin

One journey for a justice sake

To find out why it's hard to take

Through tearful sighs and endless cries

I chose a path to be my call

Of a career in forsenic law

To right the wrong of victims woes

From that lost soul not long ago

That in my memory it stays so clear

I lost my uncle so very dear.
