A Sort of Therapy

Writing has been around for a time that measures long, it is in the word, story, song. Writing is something special to me, it lives for those who can't talk and those who can't see. Many writers had some disability and saw writing as beauty. Look at Bach and Fanny Crosby, both could not see. Both could be considered poets of the finest ability, though one wrote music (Bach) and the other wrote hymns (Crosby).  To me, my writing, and my poetry are my therapy; it cures a bad case of nerves, and anxiety. There is no feeling like words spinning out onto a page, releasing you from some cage. It is like this aphrodisiac, when writing, even poetry, there is nothing you lack. You have the whole world in the palm of your hand, down to all the little grains of sand. I write because it is fun, there is no satisfaction like when a story, a poem is done. There is this reward, you are no longer bored. Poetry is a sort of therapy, it is what describes me. This is why I write my stories, my poetry, this is me.
