A Sonnet for the World's Garden
Belied are we buried within this hole
By sullen separation of rainbows
The contribution each makes to the whole
it's just made void when covered by the pushing of the hoe
You angry men, why must you cause a toll
on us? We only want a seed to grow a rose
This rose will rise only to fill its role
So why? Why must you impose?
My dear, a rose's beauty is not measured by its hue
Instead we must look at the plethora
the array of beauty in this crew
Integration made us garden with a loving aura
Together! though once the word was rare
Together! for the gardens we must care
