Someday, Never

People love to hate,
And use things as bait.
People love to destroy
Life, like a simple toy.

They’ll cuss and curse,
And make it worse.
They will not care,
To make it fair,
Unless possibly that it,
Will help them out a bit.

People love to laugh and joke,
While other’s lives go up in smoke.
Many say its human nature,
But it’s only a grim picture.
Showing what the world is coming too,
Full of what hurtful people do.

Perhaps someday this will change,
Or, at least, decrease in range.
Possibly we will learn to love,
And carry on peace, like a dove.

People consist of sorrowed things,
Showing them with different rings.
People hide all emotion,
To prevent some commotion.

While our loved ones leave,
We will watch and grieve.
It’s incredibly sad to see,
When life and love cease to be.

Death comes so searing fast,
Each breath could be your last,
Yet you never held dear
What your soul did hear.
It’s so sad to say,
You forgot to seize the day.

Don’t forget to love someone,
Or to have a life of fun.
Tell the ones you love everyday.
The things you may never get to say.
