Someday.

Location

I'll learn to love myself eventually,
Someday can't be too far from now
As long as I remember
You sail faster through hard winds and violent weather
And if you have built your ship well, and sturdy
You should manage the journey
But perhaps I want to die,
Or to go as far as my limits allow without breaking through to the other side
I want love
I feel that I need love
Like in the cold winter
When your skin and bones need the sun
I want to love
I need to love
Like when you're so alone
That your only friend is a cold gun
The mornings come quick,
Quicker than I drink beer
And I find myself more sad knowing they're here
Always more to go,
Another battle left to fight
I pour out my soul like cheap champagne on a Saturday night
I'm ready to rest and close my eyes
Only for the night and the rest of my life
I'll learn to love myself eventually,
Someday isn't too far.
