But if you believe that I think your a fool

See geeky as it used to be no longer exists

Because right now geeky consists

Of wearing a superhero tshirt and some thick rimmed glasses

But geeky used to mean you tried in all your classes

See back in the day geeky meant you were smart

But these days intelligence has no part

In what people are trying to be

They only want to emulate what they see on tv 

That Its cool to be ignorant in every way

That you should just waste your potential each day

and deep down you may really want to open a book 

But you won't because you're afraid of how it'll make you look

Afraid it'll make you look smarter

Afraid you'll look like your'e trying harder

Than all of your peers around you

Because if you look like that than they're bound to

Try and bring you back down to where they are

Because if you do good by yourself and start going far

Than they have no excuse to stay behind

And they can't handle that in their selfish minds

So they use any strings they can to hold you back

Because they want you to lack

the skills you need to get ahead

But you don't even try to cut their threads

You say if I don't try then I can't fail

But I'm telling you the titanic may have sunk but at least it did sail

And yes a lot of people died

But no one blames the people because they tried

They blame what hid under the water

I'm talking bout the ice

Just like you hiding under a vice

Wether it's drugs drinking or just being lazy

The way you people act is driving me crazy

Cuz all you ever say is more more more

But you never ask for anything that's gonna let you soar

You can't have fun unless you're drunk or high

Your mama may not know but if she did she might cry

And since I'm calling you out that makes me a hater

Just because I'm not gonna be the one cater

To all of your stupid little insecurities

And I'm not going to ignore your many impurities

Not trying is cool I know, I've had a lot of practice

So don't take this poem as a personal attack it's

just something I wanted to say

I hope geeky is smart and cool someday
