Solitude

 

These walls are caving in.
The demons are here, all the ones I avoided back then. 
No they're not pretty, 
But their honest. 
Let's be honest, they hold the key to this dungeon. 
I'm throwing all the roses down the drain. 
Everything looks pretty but watch for these thorns. 
Take caution the heat will rock you to sleep but this winter water is going to freeze. 
 
These shadows dancing on these red walls
Clawing at these shades of rain. 
Calm. 
Calming... 
The storm has ceased but the damage still remains. 
Grabbing and pulling, it's time to clean. 
I'm afraid you'll see all the trash and old rags. 
This state of being drags.
