How could it end so real?
Looking back at it it seems so surreal,
But in my mind I know how the people used to feel.
The mother,
A woman strong like no other,
Told everyone who could listen about this deal
So the whole world could know that racism is so real.
How a young man is no longer alive,
Is still known and appreciated from back in 1955.
He fought and he strain.
He went through extreme torture and pain.
We can worry less now,
From that we all gain,
It was no average murder with a pistol.
That is what makes it ill.
World in disbelief
But yet its so real,
Because a whistle
They took the life of Emmett Till.
