So Little Time

Thu, 02/19/2015 - 20:09 -- 158575

It is in my deepest mind can I say this.

What does the world care?

we talk about change, but all we have is words

words to fight

words to survive

words to love

we use words to discuss problems but in the end

they are idle words.

we spend our life trying not to drown

centuries go by and there is still so little time

we scream for time

we kill ourselves over time

and all we can do is sit and stare at a wall in silence

this is not poetry

these are words in chaos

O this mouth, these hands

look how easy we will dissolve

and there won't be a trace of grain

so little time

farewell my youth

what is the value of this world with only words to clutter inside

what is the truth?

no one knows because there isn't one

people leave us tidal waves covered with salt and scars

but we learn to love between all the cracks on the concrete

what is the truth?

we must find out ourselves while we have the time.
