Snowflakes and Stars

Wed, 07/01/2015 - 22:53 -- dnaomi

Every snowflake, differently made

Each, exquisite, until they fade

See them shimmer under the light

Thousands dressed in glorious white

There’s so many, you can’t count

Strewn upon peeks of Rainiers mount

Perceive their flurry, blurry dance

If you catch one by simple chance

Observe its delicate splendor

Hold it carefully, so tender

When night descends and all clouds part

Contemplate all Gods wondrous art

Gaze upon the stares, shining down

Notice The Lion’s mane, its crown

And Arians Belt shining clear

Pure warmth fills you, destroying fear

Ample galaxies, it is true

God formed and like a garden grew

Every one uniquely its own

All, so many, with pride is shown

Take a glance in the frozen lake

Heavenly Fathers breath you take

Of all His art, His pride and joy

Is His design of girl and boy

Notice your eyes glinting with light

Like stars and snow you are a sight

You’re completely, uniquely you

Filled with all colors, not a few

So much potential, King or Queen

For that is what Father has seen

Born to become royal and wise

Live with virtue, and claim your prize

So beautiful, truly you are

You, being, with dreams soaring far

Never let the thought cross your mind

That there is not a thing to find

Look at what’s surrounding us all

Beauties so large and treasures small

So much he gave; let us not waste

Eternal joy to be embraced
