Snow

Mon, 03/02/2015 - 20:45 -- iso235

One winter morning it started,

And the brightness had departed.

Each day grew colder and colder,

And our fire places began to smolder.

No one was prepared for an unremitting winter full of blizzards;

Our supplies began to dwindle, and one by one we met with the wizard

who despite all spells could not convice Mother Nature to reliquish her cold grip,

After months of harsh darkness and frigid isolation,

A ray of sunshine bounced off the dunes of snow

Making everything a little brighter,

Offering a glimmer of hope.
