Quiet friend, gentle touch,
white sheets, the world in its clutch.
Silently falling, blanket my mind,
this endless moment, lost in time.
Forever lost this feeling lasts,
i find my self in winters grasp.
Cover me up, let me be lost,
lost in myself, but at what cost?
Takes me in with icy hands,
lose me now, in winters land.
My quiet friend, your gentle touch,
the calm embrace is never much.
