Sniffles and Nibble

Sniffles and Nibble wander a far
Sifting through mud

Eyes alert, gentle peeps exchanged
Wary are their minds

Sniffle and Nibble waddle on
Ambling through slimy roads

Weeds fall prey
Insects flee before this sucking pair

Sniffle and Nibble, fatter grow
Their waddles slow

Eyes alert for predators foes
Hiding in reeds as soon as night lows

Close your eyes, Sniffle and Nibble
Bills tucked in, wings pulled tight

Good night little ducks
