A smile faded

Today a smile faded
As quickly as a mind can be jaded
The feeling of being alone creeps up from the abyss
All the voices around fall in to silence.
They begin to walk pass as if I'm see through
My hands and feet refuse to do as they're told to.
Held captive in a trans all I can do is watch time pass
Watch those around me live, love, and laugh by the mass.
My voice stopped from crying out
Not a wimper or a muffled shout.
The world moves on and I'm stuck standing in place
Never to experience the glow shown or their face.
That warmth that reminds them they are not alone
The one that keeps them from being cold to the bone.
Today a smile faded
The smile extinguished and with depression it is shaded.
Today my smile faded.
