Smile

A small twitch

Curving the corners

Of his soft lips

The chasm widens

A glare of white

Protecting the black within

Eyes curve upwards

Mimicking below

Wrinkles form underneath

Loud and boisterous

Yet quiet in sound

Warmth flows from him

He smiles wide

Caramel orbs

Welcoming me home
