A Small Push

I'm the pebble, you dropped me

into a river which flows gently

I'm a stubborn pebble who will not move

unless a storm starts to bloom

I begin to flow with the flow

I go faster than a pebble should go

The impact was so fast, I didn't even see

that I ran into a rock, and it cracked me

I'm cracked and I'm useless, so here I will stay

I shouldn't have moved from my place anyway

But then a small little pebble came and gave me a push

and there I went on with a small sounding swoosh

Then the pebble had followed me to make sure I'm okay

All the way to the end, 'till the storm flew away

Then a girl picked me up and brought me to her home

And showed me then put me into her fish's dome

The pebbles were amazing and I was dull in compare

But they all seemed to like me cause our closeness was clear

All of this happened cause of that small little pebble

For all that I know, he could have been a rebble

At this point, it doesn't matter if he was a crook

I'm here and a small push was all that it took
