The Small Moments: A tritina for my dad

Location

The sound of you and me singing to music

in the car. You answering my curious questions.

Watching the cars and the people. Listening

to rock songs on the radio. Listening

to the sounds of our laughter, a music.

Your quietness leaving me with questions.

Me contemplating my own questions.

Time passing slowly, the sun rising. Listening

to your adventurous police stories. Music

our goodbyes. Always listening to the questions, music.
