Sleeping Alone

I am completely naked in your embrace,

my figure shapes your body.

You run down my skin

taking the shape of my curves.

I sink my face in your cotton locks

taking in my scent.

I pull you over me

your warmth kisses my body,

a high sense of pleasure,

but I still feel cold and low.

My arms snake through your sheets

to the empty cold area next to me.

My fingers trace the crinkles formed

like goosebumps on smooth skin.

I wrap my arms around me

a lonely shell with one thought,

thinking,

where are you?

Stranger I have never met

Or, will never meet

Leaving me to sleep

and make love,

alone,

to this bed.
