Slam Indifference

I've seen through the eyes of eternity

They wear shades of cozen indifference

Wealthy and powerful, the beasts own omnipotence

The small are not worth their time; lack of clarity.

I've seen through the eyes of pain

Most are lonely and go by unseen

Although a deeper pain cuts clean

When indifference continues to reign.

I've seen through the eyes of blame

Running and pointing our fingers

Blind; Within the dark, the truth, it lingers

No more indifference, we're all the same.

I've seen through the eyes of truth

Not the world, but the people must change

Open their minds and widen their range

End indifference to protect the youth.
