From Sky, To Rain

Location

Dawn emerges just above the horizon. The night lingers in the black sky. And she dances with her twin, nipping necks With white teeth and the moon’s foggy breath appears to us brightly. Pale eyes peer up to mine, smiling.  Cold water clouds my view and a sleeved black form strides Like a god, collapses, pounces, perks her ears up and snaps playfully. The sunlight grants her not the truth of her beauty Her affability underappreciated, remnants of what used to be glow around her mane.  Not nearly the same as the last spoiled bitter friend..She returns. Life jutting betwixt the sides of her lips, pallid with the ivory of bone. In her slumber, a snail, fuzzy head atop muddy feet and paws twitching with dreams She seems,  She is, Oblivious.  A rain drop, who never met the sky.
