Skin Deep

Have you ever looked beneath

Through skin and blood and bone

Not the muscles or the organs

But deep into the soul?

You may find beneath

Similarities abound

Teethered not by race or languge

In the heart, it's found

If you look beneath

The surface of our world

The truth lies just within

Waiting to unfurl

This poem is about:
Our world
