Sirenum Scopuli

The beat calms the night as she spins her disks with all her might

They dance and dance till the break of dawn

spinning, laughing, singing loud

she calls them in one by one

one by one they disappear

fleeing into the dawn

they didn't even know what they feared

as she played her captivating song

they long for lost lovers and they long for home

she knows they are alone

one by one she plays a song

sinks the ship, and takes them where they belong

two by two she eats them whole
