Sinking Ship

The world is set for self-destruction,

Everything we see, hear, and do, is self-destructive,

Everything we eat, everything we speak,

Self-destruction is a sinking ship,

We're all on it,

Some people think the ship isn't sinking and stay on board,

Others jump into the water,

People watch and scrutinize the individuals that decide to swim for land,

"They're never going to make it...they're going to drown...the sharks,"

Swimming for land, in other words, "life,"

You might think it's quite the gamble,

But if everything on this ship is inevitably death,

Are you going to stand by and wait, or swim for a chance at life?
