Sinister

I see it when I close my eyes,

I see it right before the sunlight rise,

I see it in my darkest visions,

I see it when the eerie glow of my thoughts envision.

It has eyes, dark, like a black hole

And a mouth with painted lips and a painted black soul.

It is long and slim, with arms the length of its body,

With a painted white face to match its painted white body.

It can be seen only on certain occasions,

When the lights disappear, during the coldness invasion.

If you look into the distance, near the flickering horizon,

You may catch a glimpse, of this this creature arising.

I see it when I close my eyes,

I see it right before the sunlight rise.

I see it when its thoughts seep to my mind,

I see it when it stares back at me, monstrous face and unhuman body combined.

It may be hard to decipher,

When this creature adds you to its desire,

But once you see it, it sees you too,

And the cycle continues, starting over with you.
