Single Note

Location

I wanna be famous

When everybody knows my name

I wanna be famous

Introduce me to the game

I wanna be famous

See my name up in those lights

I wanna be famous, oh I wanna be famous

When did the sound of a loved one calling you not become enough

You don’t want their care or even their touch

Everyone seems to want fame and fortune

If I could change the world I would do it with a single note

And stop this false, decrypted view of who we should be

Just be who we are

Stop wanting the size 0 dress and the zit-free face

All the unneeded makeup get rid of all the stress

That just lowers the self-esteem level

With one note I would change the media from destructive to hopeful

Turn this picture around that you’re not perfect and that you’re beautiful

With one note let’s rebel to low standards of what’s expected from our gentleman to one of nobility from condemnation

‘Cause just like the labeling theory after so much of calling them that, that’s what they think they’re suppose to be

Read those words carefully, puttin’ some education on you

You would know if you paid attention in school instead of trying to fix everything else about you

With one note I would hope to change the views of everyone into something magical
