Sin Of Greed (Inspired by the Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer)

Location

-Needing this and wanting that

-Just to have it, they'd break their backs

-They praise their belly more than their God

-The Bible's words are unrecognized; often odd

- Using the Lord's name in vain

-All in all to keep greedy desires sane

-For gluttonous fullfillments you weep and you whine

-But as Jesus was on the cross he wanted no pity nor did he cry

-Take, take, take until there is no more

-Throw nothing away; give nothing to the poor

- A mind, body, and belly filled with corruption

- Whose soul needs gluttoney for pure seduction

- If excessive greed can take you higher

- It won't last forever, you'll burn with the fire
