Simplicity's encore
A song of ascents, by David.1 O Lord, my heart is not proud,
nor do I have a haughty look.
I do not have great aspirations,
or concern myself with things that are beyond me.
2 Indeed I am composed and quiet,
like a young child carried by its mother;
I am content like the young child I carry.
3 O Israel, hope in the Lord
now and forevermore! Simplicity
Does it move in one dimension ... how is its base defined?
Is it a fast way of thinking ... does it start back in the mind?
Are most events just surprises ... results of a single thought?
What is than going to happen ... if multi-dimensional is sought?
I know we are made to swallow ... the things not understood
the things beyond the knowing ... mostly for our own good.
These points of discussions ... separated the learned this way
They show to have no answers ... and still have lots to say.
It is well known that in numbers ... formulas can be proved
and the things called “definite” ... survive under nature’s rule.
But when it comes to mind-matters ... or to issues of the heart
there is so much not known ... that’s what sets us apart.
