Simple plea

2 Corinthians 5:20

20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

“Is God pleading through us?” Is my life a plea?

Do I sprout forth confidence that is not worth the keeping?

Is all “mine” a comfort zone ... not worthy of the heap

that I piled up throughout my life ... as my heart is weeping?

Oh, rain you visit almost every day... yes you are a blessing.

Are these the tears angels cry over an unbelieving world?

All their tears are not enough ... to pay the price for sin.

It takes much more than that ... to save this dying world.
