Simple plan

2 Peter 3:9      New English Translation

9 The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some regard slowness, but is being patient toward you, because he does not wish for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

The issue has never been, or God has enough Love

It is the simplicity of who or what loves a man

God’s Love, we can accept or just simply reject

That does not change God but shows me who I am

The attitude of a sinner is set against God’s Will

We seem inclined somehow towards some religion

Naturally, we are influenced by our heredity as also

Our environment seems so much closer to fiction

If a sinner “chooses” to be a Christian in a moment of excitement

This enthusiasm will not bring him to God at all

For the issue is and remains the attitude to God’s Will

For that originates from the flesh and the reflection of “The Fall.”

That what God rejects proceeds from the man himself

We naturally speak here in the matter of Salvation

For it’s not appearance that counts but the origination

For that has to come from God Himself, which secures our destination

God brings man to Himself to grant him a new Life

Man’s rebellious will has to conform to the Will of God

The Holy Spirit convicts a man of sin, and his degradation

A man can’t say anything even if judged to hell and rot

In Salvation, we are not saved just because we want too

The only reason that we are is that God wants it so as such

Only what God does through us is unquestionable expedient

Everything else is non-officious and leads back to dust

When God shows the definite plan interwoven in the Cross

Man will gladly accept this and express a hunger for Salvation

The first stage of this process is the Salvation of man’s will

So desire is for true water of Life as faith will start regeneration

Similarly, man’s opposition and his constant resistance

Are proof of his unwillingness to come to the Lord of Life

According to his desires, then he will perish forever

Without any excuse or reason that this is not justified

Although at the moment of new birth, man’s will is not fully united

With the will of God, Who saved him, from his rebellious “will.”

His fallen will is uplifted through his acceptance of the Lord Jesus

And Satan will lose complete control in the battle of man’s will.

Believe God’s Word and receive His Spirit so your will be renewed

The molding and making of God addresses this major part

For He needs to be the Master, and we can’t afford to be wrong

For here rests the control of self and the desires of the heart
