Simple mind ...

2 Peter 1:13

13 And it is only right that I should keep on reminding you as long as I live.

When emotions trigger ...

Who controls the mind ... and sets its direction?

Who fills it to the brim ... and motivates its sections?

Can the mind be more than one ... can it be divided

and in such oppose itself ... in such to be blindsided?

What fills it with ideas ... what is it made off?

Has it life or death ... does it know the difference thereof?

Does the mind reside in me or is it sitting on my shoulder?

Is it called feather-light ... or heavy as a boulder?

How much is it part of me ... is it domineering

like death on a battlefield ... or logic’s engineering?

Of the three: mind, body and soul ... of two we don’t know much.

and one we can’t control ... because of the two that are out of touch.
