SILENT SOLITUDE

In the partial darkness and dizzy dusk of gloom,

A sunset shaded mauve slowly scanned the room.

Shadows have awaken the beloved moonlight rising,

Veritable the glow that hung low and hypnotizing.

A glittering halo spiral performed a pomp display,

And beams slinked across the wall in a sinuous array.

Foreshadowing figures augured in a sign,

Of privy information hidden in lost time.

Crystallized unconsciousness of memories revealed,

To slowly glean the facts that were previously concealed.

A transient hive eruption in a swarming multitude,

An outward curving wave in silent solitude.

Hostile hearts and scattered beats stood in rank and file,

So impure the ambiance no virtue was in style.

The bustle of the gathering energy was heard,

And foible the torture that twisted every word.

Still through this sultry haze the angel found a clue,

And with swiftness and finesse the answers she withdrew.
