Silent Audition
“Silent Audition”
What if I
wrote a song;
but.. didn’t
have the voice
to sing it through,
if I had words
that inspire
but no one
to tell them too.
what a tragedy
to have melodies
Locked inside of you.
Arranging scores
In minor chords
Who will hear
My silent chorus
Is it fair
I can’t share,
my inner sounds,
my ups and downs,
my life’s
blacks and blues,
My silent cries
hellos goodbyes
the love;
I had to lose.
If you were told
to give up
your dreams;
they’ll never
come true,
Forget
dedication & sacrifice
You're Already through.
fear leave’s me
paralyzed
when I vocalize,
what I Know,
I was born to do.
I”ll just,
Swallow
my pride;
close my eyes,
then!
I can visualize;
the destiny,
I must Pursue.
walking lonely roads
With opticals
Wore the souls
Of my shoes
Climbing stairs
that lead nowhere
Left me tired
& confused
is there a stage
to release the rage
for someone
who’s paid there due,
Should I believe
I can’t Achieve,
Have I bit off
more than I can chew;
But,
in my mind
I See a time
that bright lights
Will Guide the blind,
when?
I have no clue.
it doesn't matter,
What.. critics
say;
with ears…
Finely, tuned.
Never mind.....
judge’s
or rolls
They play;
my feet,
Can’t
be….
moved.
ignore any doubters;
that come;
along the way,
my heart;
got Nothing
to… prove.
Because! I’m
just an instrument;
Created, for
God to use
