Silent

"Shut up your a kid you know nothing"

"A child should be seen and not heard"

"That's enough out of you missy"

"I don't wanna hear another peep out of you

I'm different than your parents I want to hear you speak

Stand up for what you believe in

Don't be shushed by every creep

All the adults in this world live to see you and not hear you

Your body can look banging but your words can be horrific

Stop suffering in silence

Say out loud how you feel

Stop slamming your bedroom door

Your bleeding on the inside and cutting on the outside

I see the scars but please tell me why they're there

I'm different than everyone else

I ask because I was there

Everyone talking but no one listening

Your'e wondering why I'm yet to say a word

Beat me to the punch tell me I suck

Anything just let me know you are here

It's easy for me to see your pain but voice it to the world

Get out of your room and come into the livngroom

A crummy title for a room that we have divided

That's what's wrong with this world

Everything is kept in private

Come downstairs and simply tell me you had a bad day

Don't stomp and slam and blast music

Talk to me

Please

I beg of you

Let's talk today
