Silence

Mon, 08/12/2013 - 13:02 -- Ms_Bri

She yells with a voice
That reaches far beyond miles
She yells to rejoice
Towards upside down smiles
She screams to find peace
To a world full of tears
She screams to find joy
To a crowd with no ears
Her shouts go unheard
In a place we call life
Her Shouts are blurred
In this world full of strife
Oh, but when she writes
Ears open wide
All of her lonely nights
Begin to give her pride
People yearn to hear a story
When it’s written on a tree
Writing poems became her glory
Every line makes her free
Free from all the pain
All the emotional violence
When you let her write to explain
She’s free from what used to be silence
