Silence
Matthew 18:6 New King James Version (NKJV)Jesus Warns of Offenses6 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Silence
It was in the newspaper today
that a young boy six years old
in a country very far away
had slain some children cold.
Only six years old this little boy
that just does not seem right.
Instead of having youthful joy
he is already forever “tried”
Some opinions differ in how
to punish this young lad.
Some just scratch their head and bow
and others say kill him dead.
Society in its peculiar ways
forms children in its image "the same",
but when young lives fall apart
no adults will take the blame.
The beginning of the end is here
when violence becomes a way of life.
When even little children fear
to be killed by their peers of five.
Well the guilty ones are by design
adults who plan and scheme
for love of money, lust, and filth
put their trash in print and screen
Well these bastards destroy what's good
and pervert these very young minds
should be the ones to become food
for hungry lions, sharks, and swines
But this trash walks in the presence
of leaders and the worldly-wise
because their filthy money buys presents
for the rulers … and their wives.
So this young child and his victims
who never had much of a life
will probably travel together
into the arms of the Author of Life.
In this world it seems a blessing
to die young and to go on
before reaching the age of thirteen,
when you're counted fully grown.
Has 13 become the age of six now
because education has forced the thought
which some decades ago somehow
were only to 18 and up in years taught?
Now is the time for the silent majority
to stand and shut up … and sit down,
because in doing nothing they have the seniority
so they can justify their ups and downs.
And then with self-adoration, they reason
about the best they gave for all
while the only thing in life as a season
was their self-centered existence in a call.
Well the world that they leave for the children
is their emptiness available for all
not worth for the children to be cherished
and for sure they are destined to fall
